About MRCP Exams Pattern:

The MRCP UK  Exams are made up of three main exams: MRCP Part 1 Exam, MRCP Part 2 Exam, and  The MRCP PACES.

The MRCP Part 1 exam is an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) which is a practical exam that includes a range of practical clinical scenarios. It assesses a candidate’s ability to diagnose, manage and communicate with patients.

The MRCP Part 2 exam is a written exam that consists of multiple choice questions and short answer questions.

MRCP PACES Exam evaluates an individuals capacity to apply medical knowledge in clinical situations.

In addition to the written exam, candidates must also complete a clinical assessment. This assessment consists of an oral examination and a physical examination. During the oral examination, the candidate will be asked questions related to a variety of medical topics, including diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and management of diseases and conditions. During the physical examination, the candidate will be asked to demonstrate skills in physical diagnoses, such as palpation, inspection, percussion, and auscultation.

Register for MRCP  Exams:

The exams are offered twice a year and are open to applicants from all over the world. To sit the exams, candidates must first register to become a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
