What’s the PLAB test?

About the PLAB test?

The test consists of two parts:

PLAB Part 1 is a multiple-choice written exam with 180 single best answers questions.
PLUB Part 2 is a structured, objective clinical exam. It’s also known as an OSCE.
Both parts must be passed before you can apply to the UK for a license to practice medicine.

How do you prepare for MRCP?

Step 01: During/after the Internship starts your preparation for MRCP-1/MRCPCH-1/MRCOG-1/ MRCS-A, for medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology and general surgery, respectively and then sit for the exam.

Step 2: After passing MRCP part 1 you can start training in any hospital/medical college for one-year and then prepare for (MRCP-2/MRCPCH-2 Written/MRCSB OSCE Final Part) before sitting for the exam. To help you succeed, it is recommended that you work with someone who holds a degree from the royal college.

Step 3 (Final Step), Prepare for the Clinical Exam with at least one year of training under a supervised consultant who is qualified for MRCP/MRCPCH.

Anybody who has completed MRCP/MRCPCH/MRCOG /MRCS may apply directly for Asst. Lecturer/ Professor in any private or public hospital.
